This howto describes creating a custom USB cable for your gumstix.
The console-vx expansion board has a female USB-B port, the wires are as follows:
red -> 5v
black -> GND
Green ->signal
white ->signal
To connect a device to your gumstix you need to either A) obtain a gender bender, or B) fabricate your own cable.
The connections of your cables should be as follows:
red -> black
black -> red
green -> white
white -> green
